According to WHO's Technical Advisory group on virus Evolution(TAG-VE),This decision at was based on the evidence presented to TAG-VE that omicron has several mutation several mutation that may impact on how it behave.

(1)What is mutation in our body?
Ans.Mutation is basically genetic change in any organism.Mutation can result from DNA copying mistakes during cell division.
(2)How Covid-19 works in our body?
Ans.On our boundaries of cell ,there are ACE2 receptors which are like lock of the cells. Coronavirus has spike on its surface called spike protein.Spike protein attach themselves to ACE2 receptors,making copies of themselves and spreading the infection.
(3)How vaccines work on Covid-19?
Ans.Our vaccines connect themselves to spike protein on corona virus before virus attaches itself on ACE2 receptors.Inside the virus,there is RNA. Vaccines destroy RNA and virus dies.Vaccines also give instruction to our body to develop specific antibodies to destroy the virus.
(4)What are symptoms of Omicron?
Ans.Omicron's symptoms are a little bit different from other variants. These are-
- Oxygen Saturation does not fall
- Person does not lose sense of smell and taste
- Person will feel fatigue
WHO is still doing research on Omicron.
Recommendation from WHO
- Keep physical distancing of 1 meter
- Wear well fitted mask
- Avoid poorly ventilated spaces
- Keep hand clean
- Cough or sneeze in bent elbow
